Carling Cup holders Man United travel down to Oakwell to take on Barnsley in the fourth round of the cup.

Barnsley striker Daniel Bogdanovic is ready to start after coming on as a substitute against Bristol City at the weekend. Bogdanovic was Barnsley’s doubt, he should be fit so they have a full squad to choose from.

Man United manager Sir Alex Ferguson should make quite a few changes. Expect to see Ben Foster, Jonny Evans, Luis Nani, Danny Welbeck, Darren Gibson and Federico Macheda.

Darren Fletcher could play after recovering from a groin injury. If he isn’t 100% fit, he won’t be risked.

Both teams have been inconsistent so far this season. Barnsley are struggling a bit in the Championship so a good cup run could take their minds of league business.

Barnsley have been known to cause a bit of a cup shock, in recent seasons they have knocked both Chelsea and Liverpool out of England’s cup competitions.

United really need a good performance after a really poor one in the 2-0 loss to Liverpool. A 1-0 win tomorrow will be good but I would prefer more goals. United need to get some of that confidence back that we had last season.
